Website Design - A Web Designers Blog

I spoke at the Think Visibility conference in Leeds this weekend as part of a site clinic. People submit their sites to the clinic looking for some advice - the clinic takes into account the design, CRO, SEO and link building side of things and I was persuaded to speak about the design. I'd like to share with you my thoughts on the sites submitted – we reviewed 3 websites submitted and I have also done a fourth one too – so you get a bonus one by reading this article. Read more
It's quite a big thing – to commission design work – whether it is a new brochure, logo or website. So it is understandable that clients want to be involved. Now it's great to see the car designs in their completed forms but I thought I'd give you an insight in to the design process of the Sunshine.co.uk team car livery. Having been involved with the livery redesign over the past two seasons we need to look back several years to see where the starting point was. Read more
Public speaking is one of those things that has always scared me. Ever since I was a child and was 'persuaded' to do a public speaking competition as part of my GCSE's - I've been terrified of it. Some people are naturals at it – they can stand up and appear very calm, confident and commanding – something that, believe me, I certainly lack when I stand up and speak. Read more
